Jakarta Dept. of Bina Marga is asked to install moveable concrete barrier (MCB) at 12 Transjakarta corridors. This road separator installation is needed since many vehicles still passing the lane.
It’s one of psychological effect to force people using public transport
“We have requested to the agency for road separator installation,” said Andri Yansyah, Jakarta Head Dept. of Transportation, Monday (5/16).
He hopes the barrier could be installed this year or lately next year. This installation would force people using public transports.

If the lane is sterile from other vehicles, bus’ headway will be shorter.
